5 Reasons to Supercharge Your Water (Because Water Isn’t Always Enough)

01

Helps replace what sweat takes out

Sweat is salty for a reason. You’re losing water and sodium, along with smaller amounts of potassium and magnesium. Lose enough fluid without replacing it, and your performance can take a knock. Replacing lost sodium helps your body retain fluid as you rehydrate. Hydrate adds all three electrolytes to your bottle, including 337 mg of sodium per tablet, to help replenish what you lose in sweat.

02

Supplies electrolytes your muscles rely on

Every run, pedal stroke and gym rep depends on signals between your nerves and muscles. Sodium and potassium help carry those signals. Magnesium supports normal muscle function. Each Hydrate tablet supplies 74 mg of potassium and 20 mg of magnesium, alongside sodium. Three minerals with real jobs to do.

03

Hydration helps you handle the heat

The South African heat does not mess around. Your body cools itself as sweat evaporates. Lose too much fluid, and controlling your temperature becomes harder. Staying hydrated helps support that cooling process. Sodium helps maintain your body’s fluid balance. Hydrate adds sodium, potassium and magnesium to your water, helping replace electrolytes lost in sweat. Take a bottle onto the padel court or along for your next round of golf.

Adds vitamin support for energy, immunity and vitality

Food provides the fuel. The six B vitamins in Hydrate help your body turn it into usable energy. Each tablet also supplies 128 mg of vitamin C to support normal immune function. Electrolytes, plus everyday vitamin support. All in the water you were going to drink anyway.

Makes everyday hydration ridiculously easy

No scoops. No powder to measure. Just drop one tablet into 600 ml of water and let it fizz away. Your usual water becomes a refreshing Lime, Orange or Raspberry drink with added electrolytes and vitamins. Zero sugar. Zero calories. One tablet. One bottle. Done. Keep a tube in your bag. Your next bottle is sorted.

“Not too sweet, nice but subtle flavours and effective hydration.”

“For years I battled during and after intense exercise and thought it was just the way I am. Was introduced to Hydrate fizzers a few years ago and what a difference it made both during and especially after training or events and for recovery. I now never exercise without it.”
Dave LarkanVerified buyer · Hydrate Tabs

“I run with a hydration vest, so pop 1 tablet in each bottle and off I go. … Makes long runs so much better and I can actually feel the difference during my run. I take another tablet after to help with recovery.”
Tennika van de VenterHydrate Tabs customer

“I've played around with several products but settled on Hydrate exclusively for almost two years. Always in my back pocket on rides and in my race bag. Was the perfect drink for Knysna Extreme Triathlon and Norseman Xtreme Triathlon.”

“What makes the Hydrate special is the fact that I can take it during the day, while sitting at work, when I feel I have lost a lot of nutrients after a few hard days' of training.”

Before you choose

A few good questions.

The details that help you pick your flavours and fit Hydrate into your day.

What is included?

Three Hydrate tubes in your chosen flavours, one 32Gi bottle, free delivery and Your Hydration Guide. Each tube contains 20 tablets, giving you 60 tablets in total.

Can I choose the same flavour more than once?

Yes. Choose Lime, Orange or Raspberry for each tube. Mix them or choose the same flavour for all three.

Is delivery included?

Yes. Free delivery in South Africa is included with this kit.

What is in the guide?

Everyday hydration, drinking before and after training, when to consider electrolytes, and ways to estimate your sweat loss. It also includes examples and a worksheet for building your own routine.

The sweat loss pages cover a home test and wearable sweat monitors. A monitor is not part of the kit.

Who is Hydrate Tabs for?

Anyone who sweats, and anyone who forgets to drink enough water. The gym, Hyrox, golf, padel, tennis, hockey, rugby, your Saturday parkrun: Hydrate Tabs are made for the sport most of us do every week.

It is not only for sport. You lose fluid and electrolytes all day, at the office, in the car or on site, not only in training. Drop one tab in your desk bottle and sip it through the workday. Lime, Orange or Raspberry makes that bottle much easier to finish.

Is more sodium always better?

No. Match your sodium to your sweat losses.

Your needs depend on how much you sweat, how salty your sweat is, how long you’re active, and the sodium already in your diet.

For lighter sweat losses, a lower-sodium option such as 32Gi Hydrate can make sense. Higher-sodium options can be useful for larger losses during long sessions, heavy sweating or hot conditions.

More sodium does not automatically mean better hydration. Regularly excessive sodium intake can raise blood pressure. On low-sweat days, water and normal meals may be enough.

Choose for your needs. Not the biggest number.

What if I sweat heavily or train for a long time?

Hydrate Tabs suit low to moderate sweat. If you sweat heavily, or your sessions run long, hot or hard, look at Hydrate 1000. Each sachet carries 1000 mg of sodium, about three times a Hydrate tablet.

Your Hydration Guide shows two ways to estimate your own sweat loss, so you can choose from your own numbers.

Does Hydrate stop cramps?

Hydrate helps replace electrolytes lost in sweat. Cramping can have several causes, and Hydrate does not promise to prevent or stop it.

What does it taste like?

Light and not too sweet. That is what reviewers mention most. Choose Lime, Orange or Raspberry, each with zero sugar and zero calories. As Lauren Badenhorst wrote: "Nice subtle lime flavour, not too sweet."

Is it vegan, gluten free, Halaal and Kosher?

Yes. Hydrate Tabs are vegan, gluten free, Halaal certified and Parev (Kosher). The colour and flavour are natural, with no artificial colours.

I have kidney problems, high blood pressure or I’m pregnant. Can I use it?

Ask your doctor first. Each tablet has 337 mg of sodium.
